Museo Minerario Palù Pèrgmandlhau
The Mocheni or Bersntol Valley (Valle del Fersina) is a wild, magical patch of land. Its inhabitants are originally German, and they still preserve, study and protect their language, culture and traditions. Traces of mining activity in the sixteenth century are engraved indelibly on the landscape and the collective consciousness of the valley. Today there are two museums at Palù del Fersina, which tell the story along the route called "The mines of the sixteenth century". The pits of the Gruab va Hardimbl mine-museum reveal the efforts of German miners who for centuries dug for copper in these mountains. Meanwhile, the Pèrgmandhaus tells of their work and their relations with the local population. An unmissable journey into the past!
